How are health controls and medical care provided to children and their accompanying persons in Turkey?
All children and their accompanying persons, extended health insurance) for the entire period of stay in Turkey and transit countries, starting from the day of departure from Ukraine. In addition, all children and their companions are screened.
Are there any entertainment events and excursions during the project?
The aim of the project is to provide a peaceful sky for children during hostilities in their home country.
With the support of the Ministries of Education, Family and Culture of Turkey, it is planned to provide entertainment trips to Turkish monuments and entertainment facilities, such as amusement parks, aquariums, etc.How is child safety ensured in Turkey?
For the safety of children, the names of the hotels they are staying in are not disclosed, and local police officers are on the premises around the clock. Entrance to the hotel for outsiders is possible only with special permission.
What is the status of children and their accompanying persons in Turkey?
All children and their accompanying persons are granted the status of “temporarily displaced persons under international protection” and are valid throughout their stay in the country.
Is it possible to adopt children who were evacuated from Ukraine to the territory of the Republic of Turkey?
Yes. A child can be adopted by citizens of Ukraine who are registered as potential adopters and live in the territory controlled by Ukraine.
Do accompanying persons have the right to work in Turkey during their stay?
No, the status of temporarily displaced persons under international protection does not entitle them to work.
How are children's unmet non-turget needs met? Is there a special budget for it?
Non-target needs are covered by volunteers. Currently, cooperation has been established with Ukrainian communities and volunteer communities in Turkey. You can join the help through accredited volunteer organizations - the list can be found in the "partners" section.
If guardians / trustees together with children wish to leave the territory of Turkey win defiance of the fact that martial law has not been terminated in Ukraine?
Сonsidering that guardians/guardians/accompanying persons are responsible for the life and health of children, this issue is resolved at their discretion, in agreement with the relevant state authorities, with the preparation of relevant documents and at their own expense.
For what period is the evacuation of children together with accompanying persons planned?
The evacuation is designed for 6 months. However, given that it is impossible to predict the exact end of the war in Ukraine, children and accompanying persons will be in full security in Turkey until their return home is safe.
What categories of children were evacuated?
Recommended lists of children are formed by Social Services and approved by the Regional State Administration and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. Currently, children of the following categories have been evacuated: 1) Orphans, 2) Children deprived of parental care, 3) Children in difficult life circumstances. As well as accompanying persons / guardians / custodians and their own children.
